God is Ein Sof
For students or anyone, In a world sometimes filled with pain, suffering and despair, it’s harder and harder to believe “God” exists.
Yet, God in Judaism is much more than puppeteer controlling us from above. As the Kabbalists expressed, God is Ein Sof, meaning nothing or no-thing.
In this framework, God is something well beyond our conception, which provides us an avenue to make sense of life’s mysteries, to engage more deeply with our world and to encourage a connection with something greater than oneself.
