“Doing good” in Judaism–acting in our community, donating, and volunteering is more than simply a generous act, it is our responsibility.
We encourage you to find your passion and purpose to be the change agents desperately needed today.
Whether organizing a rally, collecting goods for those in need, donating to an organization such as UF Hillel through our app or coming up with something brand new, our team works tirelessly to guide, advise and offer resources for those starting a movement for our world’s betterment.
UF Hillel’s work with students to transform their passion into a movement have included:

UF Intern Rachel Borman took the SNAP Challenge, to understand first-hand the struggles facing low-income people, including children, seniors, people with disabilities, and veterans. Read Rachel's article How Much Food Does $22 Buy? to see how she did.
UF Hillel is a welcoming community for Jews and non-Jews of diverse backgrounds, ethnicities, genders, sexual orientations, and abilities.
