Spread Cream Cheese Not Hate

Founded in January 2020 by UF Hillel, Spread Cream Cheese Not Hate® is a campaign to combat antisemitism and all forms of hate at the University of Florida and in our communities. By signing our annual Spread Cream Cheese Not Hate® pledge, you become part of our coalition of Gators committed to working together to ensure UF remains a safe and welcoming place for all, including but not limited to Jewish and pro-Israel students, faculty, staff, and visitors. In light of recent events and the alarming presence of antisemitic acts in our country, including on college campuses, this campaign comes at a time when many of us are feeling sad, angry, helpless, and even scared. This campaign won't change our reality overnight. These are deep and complicated problems, bigger than any daylong campaign or online pledge can solve. It can, however, provide an important first step in bringing the individual voices of our community together to collectively work toward solutions.
