The BEST tailgate spot in Gainesville - Diane and Howard Schilit Hillel at University of Florida!​ Gator Families, Alumni, current students, and friends are invited to drop by Schilit Hillel for game-day fun!

 

Located across the street from The Swamp, Schilit Hillel's Jewish Gator Tailgates feature:

  • Air Conditioning

  • Clean Bathrooms

  • Plenty of Food (Kosher and Gluten Free Options)

  • Kids Areas

  • Drinks for 21+

  • Lots of Gator ruach (spirit)

Jewish Gator Tailgates FAQs

What are Jewish Gator Tailgates?
A gathering with traditional tailgate food, drinks, games, and spirit as we prepare to cheer on the Gators football team.

 

Who can attend the tailgates?
All students, families, alumni, and community members are welcome. Our tailgates are very family and kid friendly! 

 

When are tailgates?
Every home game of the season, starting 2.5 hours prior to kickoff.

 

Where is the tailgate hosted?
Tailgates are hosted at Schilit Hillel, located at 2020 West University Avenue, inside Norman H. Lipoff Hall. 
NOTE: Our parking lot is reserved on game day and not open to the public. Please plan for alternate parking.

How much does attending tailgates cost?
Tailgates are FREE, though donations are always appreciated.

 

I used to attend the 2020 Club tailgates. Is this the same?
Yes! A few slight tweaks, but it's Hillel's community game day gathering.
