Visit Schilit Hillel at Norman H. Lipoff Hall

​​Conveniently located on University Ave across from the Stephen C. O'Connell Center and Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, Norman H. Lipoff Hall is a short walk from the heart of the University of Florida  campus. Dedicated in January 2005, Lipoff Hall includes large multipurpose rooms, a student lounge, second floor library with beautiful stained glass windows, meeting rooms, kosher kitchen, and Hillel's staff offices.

Schilit Hillel is undergoing an exciting renovation this summer! We're open during construction, and we'd love to see you. To visit us, it is best to fill out our tour form HERE or contact us at info@ufhillel.org so we know to expect you. When you arrive simply head around back, look for the blue door next to the fence, and give the bell a ring.

Parking
Hillel's parking lot is located behind Lipoff Hall and can be accessed from NW 20th Drive. Additional street parking is available around the perimeter of the building and in the O'Connell Center parking lot directly across University Ave. Please note a City of Gainesville parking permit is required for street parking during certain hours. The O'Connell Center parking lot requires a UF decal at certain times and may be closed for special events.   

RTS Bus Service
RTS provides students with free and easy public transit directly to Lipoff Hall. A covered bus stop is directly in front of the building.

SNAP
The Student Nighttime Auxiliary Patrol (SNAP), a free, nightly, campus safety and transportation service for students, serves Hillel via the Alumni Affairs/Emerson Hall stop. This stop is directly across from Hillel and our outdoor event tent on NW 20th Terrace. SNAP operates seven nights a week from 6:30 PM – 3 AM during the Fall and Spring semesters and from 8:30 PM – 3 AM during the summer semester. ​
