UF HILLEL CARES
RESOURCES FOR STUDENTS + FAMILIES
UF Hillel works hard to support students and their families when they are at their best and when they might need some additional care and attention.
Our team of professional staff strive to meet students' evolving needs, especially in the midst of the ongoing pandemic.
UF Hillel Customizable Care Packages
UF Hillel is pleased to provide FREE MATZO BALL SOUP as part of our Care Package program.
Our free, customizable Care Packages bring care and comfort to Jewish Gators when they are not feeling their very best. They include your choice of kosher matzo ball soup, Gatorade, tissues, snacks, cough drops, and other necessities to help Gators get well soon.
Friday night Shabbat dinner can also be added if your Gator is experiencing extended illness or quarantine.
Once submitted, someone from our team will follow up with you within 24 hours to confirm the details. If you have any questions, please contact Stefani Rozen at srozen@ufhillel.org.
We strive to ensure packages are delivered directly to students within 48 hours through contactless delivery. Please understand this may not be possible on Shabbat and holidays.
Hillel's Mitzvah Corp: Gators Helping Gators
In keeping with the Jewish value of caring for the sick, healthy students interested in volunteering to help assist with contactless delivery and package assembly are encouraged to contact Stefani Rozen srozen@ufhillel.org.
You do not need to have a car to volunteer! This is also a great opportunity for those who have recovered and might consider "paying it forward" to help others.
Please consider helping us keep UF's Jewish community safe and cared for by making a gift today.
Contact Jamie Zinn at jamie.zinn@ufhillel.org for more information about supporting this initiative.
For parents, of current students, we invite you to consider membership in the
UF Hillel Parents' Society as a token of your gratitude.
As a member of the Parents' Society, you are ensuring that your student, and thousands more, has an active Jewish Community to be a part of during their college experience. The Parents' Society helps you remain connected through different opportunities.
